Fine pair of British Regency chairs with caned seats; the turned back has a turned crest rail; the centre oval tablet on the back is decorated.
With a shell and foliate scroll, supported and joined with a pair of “C” scrolls. Four saber legs complete the design. Excellent all original condition; the caned seats have been redone at some point, circa 1810. There are an additional identical two pairs of these chairs in comparable condition available to make a set of six if desired. (See image).
