Vintage Design
This fantastic vintage pendant light was designed by the Guzzini design team, studio 6G, in 1960s-1970s Italy. It was produced by Meblo, Yugoslavia in the same period. The name of this model is ‘Quadrifoglio’, Italian for four-leaf clover. The shade of the lamp is a combination of white acrylic (thermoplastic) and chrome-covered metal, formed into 4 parts. The bottom of the lamp is covered by a chrome reflector. The top of the cable where it attaches to the ceiling is chromed metal as well. The cable length is adjustable and enforced by a thin metal wire. The designer’s and maker’s sticker is still present (see photographs).
