This hand painted porcelain tea bowl is from the Kangxi period in China which ran from 1661-1722. It is beautifully decorated with a scene of a building on one side and a spray of flowers and two small birds on the other. There is also a flower to the inside as well as a simple leaf motif to the inner and outer edge. It stands 38 mm (1.5 inches) high and has a diameter of 64 mm (2.5 inches). There are four very small chips to the rim, the largest being 3 mm (1/8th of an inch) wide. C 1700.
