A very good looking and versatile piece, this is an original Regency example circa 1810-1820, it has been fully restored by my French polisher to include being washed back and traditionally French polished. The table has stunning cuts of flamed mahogany all over with the period brass hardware. The table top slides out and on the underside is a chess board, if you remove the top all together you have a backgammon table
The table is in the best possible condition for the age, it has good honest age appropriate patina

Condition
Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description pertaining to the condition.
Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of creasing and wear, we recommend annual waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
