French 18th century Louis XV small Marquetry side table, a so-called “Table Chiffonière” with removable Silk Screen

The rectangular wooden marquetry top with rounded corners; sides and drawers with rectangular panel marquetry framed by contrasting banding. Key holes with Louis XV gilt bronze mounts, the feet with Louis XV gilt bronze sabots. To prevent air draft, the small table also consists of a removable screen with a wooden frame and blue and yellow striped silk lining.
