Blackened Terra Cotta Storage Jar Circa 80s’

Village craft terra cotta jar for storage. Carbon blackened in the firing with several heat spots on the outer walls. Hand made with two shoulder straps and raised mouth. Beautiful form in classic style. Crafted to be used as storage for dry goods, beans, peppers, grain, etc. a great large vessel to use in multiple locations from the garden to the hall. The measurements are 16″ tall and 5″ at the mouth, 11″ at the shoulders, the foot is 3.5″
