Elegant minimal appearance with characteristic eighties accents. Thanks to its modest shape, size and black color this counter balance light will adapt in almost any type of interior.
Very practical design; The lamp is 360 degrees rotatable and thanks to the heavy counter weight the lamp can be positioned up or down from the ceiling. The shade itself can also be turned in many directions. So this light can be easily used as a ceiling up-lighter as well as a powerful spotlight directed on a table or floor! Solid wood ceilig bar. Lightsource one normal E14 bulbholder, suitable for common LED bulbs.
Excellent condition, all parts have been checked and tested eleborate.
This counter balance light was created by the Herda design team. Together with Hala, Anvia and Raak, Herda was one of the Dutch innovative lighting companies that became succesful during the period 1950-1980. Their eighties designs were clearly influenced by the Memphis era ( Sottsass, Mendini).
