Circa 1620 – 1640.
This set of tiles is of fine quality and has a bright glaze. They date to the second quarter of the 17th century and where probably ment to decorate a fireplace. The painting is of a fine quality. The tiles are painted with all kinds of different flowers, such as tulips, lily’s, carnations and imperial crowns. The corners are decorated with the French Lily.
The tiles measure approximately 13 x 13 cm (5.1 x 5.1 inch).
