Floor lamp is an original design lamp realized by Gianfranco Frattini in 1960s. Made in Italy. A vintage metal lamp with lampshade in white fabric. Gianfranco Frattini (Padua, 1926 – Milan, 2004). He was an Italian architect and designer. He is part of the generation that formed the Italian design movement in the late fifties and during the sixties. Frattini graduated in Architecture from the Milan Polytechnic in 1953. He opened his own professional studio in Milan, after working in the studio of his teacher and mentor Gio Ponti. His collaboration with Cesare Cassina for his homonymous company began in 1954, followed by collaborations with many other industrialists, such as Bernini, Arteluce, Acerbis, Fantoni, Artemide. He was a member of the board of the Milan Triennale. A great connoisseur of artisan wood, he forged a long and fruitful professional collaboration with the master craftsman from Bovisio Masciago (Milan), Pierluigi Ghianda.
