A set of four Norwegian sculpted Danish design Rosewood ‘Darby’ dining chairs,
designed by Torbjörn Afdal for Bruksbo in the 1960s.
The rosewood’s dark colouring looks especially dramatic when paired with black upholstery.
The design features slightly extended front legs, mirrored in the back’s proportions.
The seat pads are finished in high-quality faux leather vinyl upholstery.
During the 1950s and 1960s, Torbjörn Afdal was one of Norway’s most active designers.
At the highly regarded business Bruksbo, where he was the head designer, he created several famous designs in rosewood.
