19th Century German Silver Ship Model

Very impressive 19th century solid silver antique German model of a ship, named “Nef” in the renaissance style, impressively large and highly detailed. The three-masted galleon with a crew on board and in the crow’s nest. The hull decorated in relief with grotesque birds and applied with cannons, the hull supported by four fully carved wheels. No manufacturer’s marks found. Condition In excellent condition – no damage, just general wear. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
