This exceptional antique Austro-Hungarian silver beaker has a plain cylindrical, tapering form.
The upper portion of the beaker is encompassed with two bands of tooled decoration above the contemporary engraved initial ‘V’ beneath a coronet to one side.
The base of this Austrian silver beaker retains the silversmith’s center punch mark.
The hallmarks to this impressive antique beaker includes the quality/purity mark 13 lo¨thige/loth which is the equivalent to .812.5 standard silver (812.5/1000).
Condition
This fine antique beaker is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and is in exceptional condition.
The Austro-Hungarian hallmarks struck to the rim of the beaker are all clear in keeping with age and location.
